What is a good story?

Anyone can write stories, but very few can write stories worth reading. Writing is a skill that can be learned and earned, but only through sheer hard work and passion. A good story is something that lets people slip into someone else’s mind. It’s something that lets them swim through the ocean of human conscience, allows them to ride on a rollercoaster of emotions, shows them that life is meaningless and yet can have a meaning, and assure them that they are not alone and that in the end, everything will be okay, it always is.
